Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Nu de la Mer' (Camargue) by Lucien Clergue. The price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,422.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lucien Clergue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nu Zébré I, New York' in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
