Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lucien Adrion could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Au Bord De La Plage; Personnages Sur La Plage: Two Works changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,858.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lucien Adrion have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deauville, Les Planches in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucien Adrion konnte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Au Bord De La Plage; Personnages Sur La Plage: Two Works für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.858,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucien Adrion auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deauville, Les Planches im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
