Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lucien Adrion achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work L'Avenue, Paris sold for GBP 10,455.00 (€ 12,114.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Lucien Adrion have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deauville, Les Planches in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucien Adrion erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit L'Avenue, Paris für GBP 10.455,00 (€ 12.114,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucien Adrion auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deauville, Les Planches im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
