A top price for Lucas Tandokwazi Sithole
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work South African day Dreamer by Lucas Tandokwazi Sithole. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,867.30), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, South African day Dreamer is even the most expensive work of art by Lucas Tandokwazi Sithole that we have observed at auctions so far.
