Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luca Pignatelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Art Sale auction, the work New York sold for EUR 13,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Pignatelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in May 2013 for EUR 39,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luca Pignatelli erzielte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale wurde die Arbeit New York für EUR 13.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luca Pignatelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afroditesigned, Titled And Dated 2007 On The Reverse; Oil On Canvas beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für EUR 39.900,00 versteigert wurde.
