Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Adoration Of The Shepherds by Luca Longhi was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in December 2011. The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 56,109.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Longhi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Mystic Marriage Of Saint Catherine With A Bishop Saint, Probably Saint Nicholas Of Bari, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 289,000.00 (€ 194,730.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Adoration Of The Shepherds von Luca Longhi wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 46.850,00 (€ 56.109,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
