Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Visione di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria by Luca Longhi was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in Milan in May 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luca Longhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mystic Marriage Of Saint Catherine With A Bishop Saint, Probably Saint Nicholas Of Bari in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 289,000.00 (€ 194,730.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Visione di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria von Luca Longhi wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luca Longhi erzielen.
