Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eight-character Calligraphic Couplet in Standard Running Script by Lu Runxiang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,189.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lu Runxiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplet In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eight-character Calligraphic Couplet in Standard Running Script von Lu Runxiang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.189,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lu Runxiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
