A top price for Lu Runxiang
When the work Couplet In Running Script by Lu Runxiang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 12,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04). This high result makes Couplet In Running Script the most expensive artwork by Lu Runxiang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Lu Runxiang
Als die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Lu Runxiang im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – HKD 12.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) mehr als dreimal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Couplet In Running Script zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lu Runxiang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
