The work Eight-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script by Lu Runxiang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,928.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Lu Runxiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couplet In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eight-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script von Lu Runxiang kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.928,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Runxiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
