The work Calligraphic Couplet by Lu Runxiang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 11,324.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Runxiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).

Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet von Lu Runxiang kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 11.324,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Runxiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) versteigert wurde.
