Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Lu Runxiang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 147,500.00 (€ 16,736.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Runxiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Couplet In Running Script, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Lu Runxiang kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 147.500,00 (€ 16.736,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Runxiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04) versteigert wurde.
