A top price for Lu Qiguang - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script by Lu Qiguang was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script is the most expensive artwork by Lu Qiguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script von Lu Qiguang kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.267,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lu Qiguang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
