The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script is the most expensive artwork by Lu Qiguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
