This artwork by Lu Qiguang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,039.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lu Qiguang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy Couplet In Running Script sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Qiguang erzielte im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
