Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Bamboo/Calligraphy by Lu Kunfeng. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,927.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Lu Kunfeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bamboo, Rocks And Orchids in March 2011 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,626.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo/Calligraphy von Lu Kunfeng zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.927,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lu Kunfeng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bamboo, Rocks And Orchids im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.626,74).
