This artwork by Lu Kunfeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Bamboo and Orchid sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,158.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lu Kunfeng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bamboo, Rocks And Orchids, which sold at auction in March 2011 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,626.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lu Kunfeng erzielte im September 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Bamboo and Orchid für USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.158,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lu Kunfeng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bamboo, Rocks And Orchids beobachtet, die im März 2011 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.626,74) versteigert wurde.
