A top price for Louwrens Hanedoes - as previously expected
The work A shepherd on a sunlit heath, Barbizon (?) by Louwrens Hanedoes was sold in the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2002. The price achieved of EUR 2,390.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A shepherd on a sunlit heath, Barbizon (?) is the most expensive artwork by Louwrens Hanedoes that we have observed at auctions so far.
