A top price for Louise Hearman - as previously expected
In August 2007 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works, which included the work Australian Untitled by Louise Hearman. The price achieved of AUD 13,800.00 (€ 8,252.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Australian Untitled is the most expensive artwork by Louise Hearman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Untitled von Louise Hearman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 13.800,00 (€ 8.252,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Australian Untitled das teuerste Kunstwerk von Louise Hearman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
