In the Courageous Spirits: Outsider and Vernacular Art auction, the work Untitled (William Edmondson Sculptures), contact sheet details, circa 1937 sold for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,474.15) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louise Dahl-Wolfe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude On Beach, California, 1948 in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,998.79).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Dahl-Wolfe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude On Beach, California, 1948 im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.998,79).
