Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Abbéma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Renée Delmas de Pont-Jest in May last year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 129,158.51).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.758,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Abbéma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Renée Delmas de Pont-Jest im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 129.158,51).
