Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART, which included the work AJC-meisje bij bushalte in Betondorp by Louis Schrikkel. The price achieved of EUR 4,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Louis Schrikkel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work Oversteek Brompton Road was auctioned for NLG 19,893.40 (€ 8,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit AJC-meisje bij bushalte in Betondorp von Louis Schrikkel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Louis Schrikkel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Oversteek Brompton Road für NLG 19.893,40 (€ 8.488,82) versteigert.
