In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction Boulle to Jansen: An Important Private European Collection, which included the work The Spanish topsail schooner Victoria in two positions off Marseilles by Louis Pellegrin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,091.10). Other works by Louis Pellegrin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 4,182.50 (€ 6,010.48) in June 2003 for the work The Spanish brig Jayne Ferrer approaching Marseilles with the pilot boat off her stern.

Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Boulle to Jansen: An Important Private European Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Spanish topsail schooner Victoria in two positions off Marseilles von Louis Pellegrin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.151,00 (€ 3.091,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Louis Pellegrin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.182,50 (€ 6.010,48) im Juni 2003 für die Arbeit The Spanish brig Jayne Ferrer approaching Marseilles with the pilot boat off her stern beobachtet.
