This artwork by Louis Moe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Wind sold for DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,071.92) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Louis Moe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot “Til Valhalla” sold at auction in September this year with the realized price of DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,608.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Moe erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wurde die Arbeit Wind für DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.071,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Louis Moe; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit “Til Valhalla” im September diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.608,84).
