Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Louis Moe could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Les Mouchets” and “A dangerous flirt” changed hands for DKK 2,700.00 (€ 361.77) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Louis Moe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Til Valhalla” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,608.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Moe konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Les Mouchets” and “A dangerous flirt” für DKK 2.700,00 (€ 361,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Moe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Til Valhalla” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.608,84).
