Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Louis Moe could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A mermaid and a goblin in conversation changed hands for DKK 4,600.00 (€ 616.35) - just shy of the DKK 6,000.00 estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Moe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Til Valhalla”, which sold at auction in September this year for DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,608.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Moe konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A mermaid and a goblin in conversation für DKK 4.600,00 (€ 616,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Moe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Til Valhalla” beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.608,84) versteigert wurde.
