Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Farlig Flirt” (A dangerous flirt) by Louis Moe for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 140.69). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Moe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Til Valhalla” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,608.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Farlig Flirt” (A dangerous flirt) von Louis Moe für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 140,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Moe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Til Valhalla” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.608,84).
