In the The Collection of the Late Andre Meyer auction, the work Portrait of Princess Galitzin, bust length, wearing a green dress with lilac ribbons and a pearl necklace changed hands for USD 32,900.00 (€ 36,584.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Michel van Loo achieve.
