The work Female phantom, surreal double composition by Louis Marcussen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year. Here, the estimate of DKK 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 16,500.00 (€ 2,213.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Marcussen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two mirrored surreal compositions, recto et verso in June this year with an auction result of DKK 200,000.00 (€ 26,849.82).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Female phantom, surreal double composition von Louis Marcussen kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 16.500,00 (€ 2.213,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Marcussen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two mirrored surreal compositions, recto et verso im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 200.000,00 (€ 26.849,82).
