Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work "Vy av Kina slott" by Louis Jean Desprez. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 500,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 520,000.00 (€ 59,355.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Jean Desprez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Design For A Stage Set: The Temple Of Neptune, which sold at auction in July 2015 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 124,045.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Vy av Kina slott" von Louis Jean Desprez zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 500.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 520.000,00 (€ 59.355,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Jean Desprez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Design For A Stage Set: The Temple Of Neptune beobachtet, die im Juli 2015 für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 124.045,61) versteigert wurde.
