Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Orchids by Louis Icart for USD 637.50 (€ 577.45). This price was achieved in the auction Home & InteriorsCollections at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Icart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 19,126.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Orchids von Louis Icart für USD 637,50 (€ 577,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Icart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.126,00.
