Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jealousy; Blue Parrot 2 by Louis Icart was sold in the Discovery Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 318.75 (€ 316.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Icart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier in March 2009 with an auction result of EUR 19,126.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jealousy; Blue Parrot 2 von Louis Icart wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Discovery Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 318,75 (€ 316,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Icart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegante Et Fillette Au Levrier im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.126,00.
