In the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction, the work La promenade en barque et Famille près d'un étang sold for EUR 22,304.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Gabriel Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Moonlit Landscape With Boatmen in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 103,858.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Gabriel Moreau erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit La promenade en barque et Famille près d'un étang für EUR 22.304,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Gabriel Moreau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Moonlit Landscape With Boatmen im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 103.858,94).
