Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,826.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Gabriel Moreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Moonlit Landscape With Boatmen in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 103,858.94).
