Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Louis Fratino was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 22,860.00 (€ 21,598.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Fratino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tristan Drinking Soup in May last year with an auction result of USD 365,400.00 (€ 340,508.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Louis Fratino wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.860,00 (€ 21.598,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Fratino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tristan Drinking Soup im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 365.400,00 (€ 340.508,81).
