Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Louis Eisner could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Yellow Helter Skelter changed hands for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,265.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Eisner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marshall Head (Void) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 100,439.88).
