Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames, which included the work L'Hommage À Cérès by Louis de Caullery. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,896.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis de Caullery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 114,500.00 (€ 155,586.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Hommage À Cérès von Louis de Caullery zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.896,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis de Caullery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Crucifixion On Mount Calvary im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.500,00 (€ 155.586,08).
