Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Zephyr Crowning Flora by Louis de Boullogne was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 23,696.68). Admittedly, works by Louis de Boullogne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venus In The Forge Of Vulcan in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 128,148.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Zephyr Crowning Flora von Louis de Boullogne kam im Januar 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 23.696,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis de Boullogne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venus In The Forge Of Vulcan im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 128.148,15).
