This artwork by Louis Cane achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 1,792.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Cane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 84,010.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Cane erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 1.792,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Cane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.010,00.
