Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Sans titre by Louis Cane for EUR 486.40. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Cane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 84,010.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans titre von Louis Cane für EUR 486,40 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Cane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toile Sol/Mur - 1973 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.010,00.
