Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 16,879.02). Admittedly, works by Louis Bosworth Hurt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loch Lubnaig And Ben Vane in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 55,200.00 (€ 82,085.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cattle In A Highland Landscape von Louis Bosworth Hurt kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 16.879,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Bosworth Hurt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loch Lubnaig And Ben Vane im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.200,00 (€ 82.085,89).
