In May 2017 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work La Chaumière de Diane, Beaumont-le-Roger, Normandy by Louis Aston Knight. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,799.93) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Aston Knight - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Cottage in Spring, Normandy, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 52,875.00 (€ 62,308.51).

Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Chaumière de Diane, Beaumont-le-Roger, Normandy von Louis Aston Knight zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.799,93) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Aston Knight mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Cottage in Spring, Normandy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 52.875,00 (€ 62.308,51) versteigert wurde.
