Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'etang de Lapra en Septembre, St. Bonnet-Les-Oulles by Louis-Aimé Japy was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,823.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis-Aimé Japy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cattle watering in an extensive lake landscape in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 31,899.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'etang de Lapra en Septembre, St. Bonnet-Les-Oulles von Louis-Aimé Japy wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.823,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis-Aimé Japy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cattle watering in an extensive lake landscape im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 31.899,38).
