Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Ophelia, 2005 by Loretta Lux for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,246.19). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Loretta Lux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marianne in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 38,676.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ophelia, 2005 von Loretta Lux für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.246,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Loretta Lux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marianne im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 38.676,84).
