A top price for Loretta Lux
This artwork by Loretta Lux achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2005. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) auction, the work Marianne sold for USD 45,600.00 (€ 38,676.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. This high result makes Marianne the most expensive artwork by Loretta Lux that we have observed at auctions so far.
