Upper estimate price exceeded by 42 %.
In June 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Testa virile by Lorenzo Viani. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,500.00 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Viani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dame mit Chrysantheme in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 189,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Testa virile von Lorenzo Viani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.500,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Viani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dame mit Chrysantheme im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 189.100,00.
