Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lorenzo Sabatini could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Paintings and Drawings auction, the work Allegorical Figure, Probably Prudence changed hands for USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,908.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Sabatini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Holy Family With The Sleeping Christ Child in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 61,858.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lorenzo Sabatini konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Master Paintings and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Allegorical Figure, Probably Prudence für USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.908,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Sabatini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Holy Family With The Sleeping Christ Child im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 61.858,17).
