Sold at the lower estimate price

In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A Putto Seen From Below by Lorenzo Sabatini. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,250.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorenzo Sabatini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Holy Family With The Sleeping Christ Child in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 61,858.17).

Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis

Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Putto Seen From Below von Lorenzo Sabatini zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.250,71) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorenzo Sabatini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Holy Family With The Sleeping Christ Child im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 61.858,17).
