Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A dune landscape with figures and pigs on a track near a cottage by Lodewijk de Vadder was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 11,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lodewijk de Vadder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Waldlandschaft mit hohen Birken., which sold at auction in March 2006 for CHF 36,000.00 (€ 22,767.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A dune landscape with figures and pigs on a track near a cottage von Lodewijk de Vadder wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 11.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lodewijk de Vadder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Waldlandschaft mit hohen Birken. beobachtet, die im März 2006 für CHF 36.000,00 (€ 22.767,28) versteigert wurde.
