Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Portrait of a Girl by Liu Zhenxia. The price achieved of HKD 107,100.00 (€ 12,949.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 160,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Zhenxia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Festive Moment in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 105,515.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Girl von Liu Zhenxia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 107.100,00 (€ 12.949,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Zhenxia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Festive Moment im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 105.515,98).
