This artwork by Liu Zhenxia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work A Little Girl sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,291.80) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liu Zhenxia; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Festive Moment sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 105,515.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Zhenxia erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit A Little Girl für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.291,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Liu Zhenxia; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Festive Moment im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 105.515,98).
